Drs. Tendler, Cencora, Gold, Pitchumoni, Vazirani and Tilara welcome you to Advanced Gastroenterology Associates, LLC (AGA). We collectively have over 70 years of experience and offer our patient’s unsurpassed expertise, compassion, trust and follow-up care.
As Board Certified Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists we treat gastrointestinal, pancreatic/biliary and liver diseases. Common conditions treated daily include but are not limited to, colon cancer screening, GERD, Barrett’s Esophagus, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Celiac Sprue, abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea, bloating and gas, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, pancreatitis, gall bladder issues, hepatitis and hemorrhoids.
With offices located in Marlboro, Howell and Old Bridge we specialize in digestive disease treatment, providing gastroenterology doctors and gastroenterologist services in Monmouth County New Jersey including Manalapan, Marlboro, Freehold, Englishtown, Howell, Monroe, Matawan, Holmdel, Farmingdale and Old Bridge.
In addition to regularly performing out-patient colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, we are also skilled in a number of other out-patient advanced procedures; ERCP (an advanced endoscopic procedure to diagnose and treat conditions of the biliary and pancreatic systems), BARRX (an advanced procedure using radio frequency ablation for treatment of Barrett’s Esophagus), Diagnostic & Therapeutic EUS, (an advanced endoscopic ultrasound technique, used to diagnose and treat diseases of the pancreas, biliary system, & upper gastrointestinal tract). We also perform some in-office procedures such as Wireless Capsule Endoscopy used to visualize and diagnose small intestinal problems and Hemorrhoid banding using the CRH O’Regan Hemorrhoid Removal system, which is a fast, painless procedure to treat hemorrhoids without surgery.
Outpatient procedures are performed at two state-of-the-art surgery centers: Endo-Surgi Center of Old Bridge and CAMIS (Center for Ambulatory and Minimally Invasive Surgery) in Eatontown, and, at the well-respected hospital, CentraState Medical Center in Freehold.
