
TINA VAZIRANI, M.D. is Board Certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, and is trained in both General Gastroenterology (digestive diseases) and Hepatology (liver diseases). She has been in practice in Monmouth County for over 10 years.
Dr. Vazirani was raised in Old Bridge, New Jersey. She completed a prestigious accelerated 7-year combination undergraduate and medical program at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)/UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Vazirani then went on to complete her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before moving on to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center for her gastroenterology/hepatology fellowship.
Dr. Vazirani has expertise in Colonoscopy and Upper Endoscopy and treats all aspects of Gastroenterology (digestive diseases) and Hepatology (liver diseases) including but not limited to, Transplant Hepatology, Hepatitis C, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, Acid Reflux/Gerd, Gallstones, and Celiac Disease.
Dr. Vazirani has special expertise in advanced procedures such as Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (to diagnose diseases in small intestine) as well and ERCP (for the diagnosis and treatment of biliary and pancreatic diseases). She also has special training in hemorrhoid banding and performs this as an in-office procedure.
Dr. Vazirani is a well-rounded clinician and endoscopist and has a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and in women’s health in gastroenterology. She currently resides in Old Bridge.
