Dr. Ahmed H. Alansari is a board certified physician in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, and treats all aspects of general gastroenterology (digestive diseases) and hepatology (liver disease).  He completed his medical studies at University of Alexandria, Egypt with Magna Cum Laude honors. He joined the faculty practice at University of Alexandria as an Assistant Lecturer.

Dr. Alansari then went on to train at Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan, New York, where he served as a resident of Internal Medicine then as a chief medical resident.  He received his residency diploma in Internal Medicine and his fellowship diploma in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from New York Medical College, New York.  Dr. Alansari then went to complete an additional year of training at University of Chicago, Illinois, specializing in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy.

Dr. Alansari has special expertise in Diagnostic and Therapeutic EUS (endoscopic ultrasound with biopsy), BARRX (ablation technique for treatment of Barrett’s Esophagus), ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) and large polyp resection.

He currently resides in the area with his wife, daughter and son.
